![]() After a company launch, a Q&A (survey on family), and a business service blog – I write this week about Reimagining and Possibilities. As I have previously mentioned, the goal for my weekly blog is to initiate conversation around inspiring a better life, a better way. Today, let’s boldly talk about principles generating concern and how they may show up… "in the end". To get started on where I am going with this. I propose reimagining “tearing down someone’s life over jealousy (power, competition, regret) for the benefit of oneself”. Is the simplified idea of “destroy to conquer” acceptable, logical or beneficial…in the end? Put life is not fair aside. For a healthy, non-political debate we could argue it’s being displayed day in day out, all sides, on a National scale. We can read story after story of unfairness within communities, businesses, schools, churches, families and relationships. I may even have a bit of knowledge from personal experience. I believe we could all tap into a time when we witnessed or felt such a thing happen to our self. Perhaps we must look in the mirror and own the behavior. If it seems I have taken a singular viewpoint, that is not my objective. I am challenging myself, along with you, to a deeper understanding. Exploring values. Discovering where change may occur. Reimagine…
Is it possible…
I write to create fresh thoughts, connect in conversation, not to suggest or impose my perceived position for your own. And welcome your comments where I did not present a wide enough lens. For every statement spoken or written, we do live in an environment of being able to contradict it – the challenge, let your 1st opinion go, and take on an alternative one for a full 5 minutes of reflecting. What did you discover? What standards do you have concern about – do they involve communication, group thinking, lies, love, belonging, kindness, freedom, potential, individualism, winning, extremism...what is nagging at you, want to share? How can we together reimagine “it’s” possibilities… "in the end".
