There are probably as many ways to define family as there are families. Does it matter? After my ideals, description and values were challenged, describing family is interesting to me. My curiosity is high. My perspectives questioned. I want to hear what others have to say about family. It’s fascinating to reimagine all the possibilities and discover what family means to others and how it matters. Family by dictionary is a noun, but shows up often as an adjective, sometimes verb. Family is our first experience of belonging in this world and culture—we all have one in some form. Family still represents measurable significance, for our economy as both businesses and consumers. Family is our standard of living and being—the ultimate identifier. Let's have an open, honest, thoughtful and interactive conversation about defining family! Please strongly consider indulging me and my interest by participating in an approximately 10-minute survey—depending on your reflecting—per the link below. Your answers, not only valuable because you voice them, will become important data points for creating, coaching and connecting. I am excited to receive your (confidential) responses and with them inspire better families. My heartfelt appreciation for your time and contribution. To make this survey as beneficial as possible, kindly forward within your network as comfortable. I promise to share follow up blogs with summaries, that you may choose to use and benefit from the input.
